Here it is last week’s show, and the first show in a minute. I know I know…

We had a variety pack of things going on. The show opened up with me mixing ASC’s new album pretty much track for track. I didn’t bother writing out a tracklist because you can figure out what’s what on your own. I literally played it from start to finish. I skipped the one techo tune in the middle but other than that it’s track one mixed into track to, mixed into track three and so on.

After that my wife and I did some b2b with me playing 3 dubstep tracks and she’d mix in with a couple techno tunes. It’s works pretty well given that they’re all right around the same BPM, and outside of a couple spicy mixes I think it turned out sounding good. This tracklist will only reflect my tunes though, she couldn’t be arsed to give me names.

And lastly we rode things out how we always do. Enjoy.

With having a couple weeks off for vacation things have slowed down considerably around here. I’m working on getting last week’s show up as well as planning a couple changes to the site. Hang tight I promise that things will be back to awesome in due time.

Ok I won’t lie this weeks show was pretty darn good if I do say so myself. It has everything I like in a mix with the added benefit of not having had any errant mixes rear their ugly head. Anyways. As with everything there’s always an ebb and flow and I feel like this is a good representation of how my style has morphed over the past six month while still holding on to some stuff I’ve really loved from the past. Enjoy.

Oh and the absolute star of this show is without a doubt Quest – Wind Tunnel. This is NOT a tune to sleep on.

Alright back after a little break here is the show from last week. I kind of threw this together this afternoon so I think I missed a track in the 2nd hour but I promise you won’t notice.

I’m also going to take a second to say that the show next week is going to be the only one for the next couple weeks. I’m heading out to Shambhala the last week of July and then off to Dublin the week after so this will be the last mix for a bit. :(

Music for Astronauts 06-24-10

Last week’s show was cut an hour short due to Sugarpill doing a special ticket giveaway and was going to need extra time. I decided that with only an hour to play I’d see how many tracks I could fit in before 10:00. This admittedly isn’t the most original mix I’ve done. A lot of these tunes have seen plenty of time on the show so I’ll apologize for the well tread territory. The upside of this is that the mix isn’t actually half bad. There are a couple sketchy mixes here and there, but for the most part I’m happy with the tracks I selected and with how it came out. Enjoy.
